A troubling incident occurred in Texas City on Friday when a law enforcement vehicle was burglarized, resulting in the theft of several critical items. The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office reported that a firearm, a ballistic vest, and a deputy’s duty belt were among the stolen goods.
The stolen items include a 300 Blackout AR equipped with a suppressor, a sheriff’s office-issued ballistic vest, and the duty belt belonging to a deputy. In response to the theft, authorities are actively seeking information from the public and have announced a reward of up to $5,000 for credible leads that could aid in the recovery of the stolen equipment or the apprehension of those responsible.
