Texas Man Charged with Murder Following Deadly Bar Parking Lot Shooting in Lewisville

A man has been arrested and charged with murder following a fatal shooting outside a bar in Lewisville, Texas, early Sunday morning. The incident occurred in the parking lot of a bar located in the 1100 block of Texas Street.

At approximately 1 a.m., Lewisville police responded to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts at the scene, the victim was later transported to a local hospital in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities quickly identified the suspect as 40-year-old Ronald Lamont Ross. He was apprehended nearby without incident and faces charges of murder and tampering with evidence.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed, as the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office is working to notify the next of kin. The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing, with detectives urging anyone with relevant information to reach out.
