The Austin City Limits Music Festival experienced a dramatic transformation from the muddy conditions of its opening weekend to a dusty, vibrant second weekend in Zilker Park. Tens of thousands of attendees flocked to the park to enjoy electrifying performances from artists such as Charli XCX, Turnstile, Sienna Spiro, and many others during the festival’s concluding days.

Initial worries about potential damage to the Zilker lawn due to the weather conditions of the first weekend were alleviated when city officials confirmed that the park would be fully restored in time for the second weekend.

The multimedia team from KUT and KUTX ventured throughout the festival grounds to capture memorable moments from the second weekend, showcasing the spirit and excitement of the event.

As the festival kicked off, the band Almost Heaven took the stage, setting the tone for an exhilarating weekend. Brendan Yates, the lead singer of Turnstile, engaged with the audience, leaning into the crowd during their energetic performance.

Festivalgoers creatively adapted to the dusty environment, with some wearing hats and face coverings to shield themselves from the conditions in Zilker Park, while Bella Kay delivered an impressive set.

The energy surged as the crowd moshed during Turnstile’s performance, showcasing the festival’s lively atmosphere. Friends Christian Goeke, Joe Dubois, Gregory Van de Putte, and Megan Gaitan captured the moment with a group photo, highlighting the camaraderie among attendees.

Henry Beasley, the frontman of New Zealand’s Balu Brigada, also captivated the audience with his engaging performance, while Jack Antonoff, lead singer of Bleachers, connected with fans, pointing towards the crowd as they played.

On the festival’s first day of the second weekend, Sienna Spiro took to the stage, while the air grew hazy over the crowd, creating a surreal atmosphere as festivalgoers navigated through Zilker Park.

The excitement continued as the electronic duo Snow Strippers performed, with Tatiana Schwaninger appearing in silhouette, adding to the visual spectacle of the festival.
