Two individuals lost their lives and two others are hospitalized following a tragic single-vehicle accident on Monday night in the Pleasant Grove area of Dallas. The incident occurred near the Grover C. Keeton Golf Course, prompting an urgent response from emergency services.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene on North Jim Miller Road around 9 p.m. and quickly requested a full ‘heavy rescue’ team due to the extent of the damage and the number of individuals trapped inside the vehicle.

Firefighters utilized specialized equipment to extricate four adults from a Toyota SUV. Unfortunately, a man and a woman inside the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene. The two other occupants were transported to a local hospital, with one in critical condition and the other suffering from serious injuries.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the SUV was heading south on Jim Miller Road when the driver lost control, resulting in the vehicle veering off the road and colliding with a tree. The cause of the driver’s loss of control has yet to be determined.

Authorities have not released the names of the victims, pending notification of their families. Additionally, the exact relationship among the four individuals in the SUV remains unclear.
