A woman has been hospitalized following a shooting at a residence in White Settlement, Texas, which is the same location where another woman was shot in June 2025.
Authorities responded to the incident in the 600 block of Meadow Park Drive. Upon arrival, they found the victim, who was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Police are currently searching for two to three young adult males, described as wearing dark clothing and hooded sweatshirts, who reportedly fled the scene. Witnesses observed them entering a green vehicle as they left the area.
Christopher Cook, the chief of police in White Settlement, confirmed that the investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
During the police activity, two local schools, Liberty Elementary and Brewer Middle School, were temporarily placed in a Secure status. This protocol involved locking the exterior doors and continuing regular school operations inside the buildings. According to Desiree Coyle from the White Settlement Independent School District, the Secure status has since been lifted.
Notably, the house where the recent shooting occurred was previously the site of a violent incident in June 2025, when a 17-year-old girl was shot three times during an illegal vape transaction. The suspect in that case, 20-year-old Alejandro Carrasco Jr., was later apprehended after he accidentally shot himself in the foot during the altercation.
As the investigation unfolds, details about the victim’s condition remain unclear.
