Clarence Chambers, a 34-year-old member of the 52 Hoover Gangster Crips, has been sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for his involvement in sex-trafficking young girls in the Houston area. The U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed this sentence, which follows Chambers’ guilty plea to charges of sex trafficking on November 24, 2025.
From April to September 2019, Chambers and his associates reportedly recruited vulnerable young girls, some as young as 14, and forced them to engage in sexual acts with clients in cars and motels along the notorious Bissonnet track. This area, located near the US 59 Southwest Freeway and Bissonnet Street, is well-known as a hub for trafficking and exploitation.
The court proceedings revealed harrowing details about the exploitation faced by these teenage girls, including physical abuse, threats, and lasting psychological trauma. Chambers used violence and intimidation to control the young victims, compelling them to walk the streets while he and other men collected the profits from their exploitation.

U.S. Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei expressed the gravity of the situation, stating, “Chambers stole his young victims’ dignity and innocence. They were beaten, threatened, and treated as commodities for someone else’s profit. Today’s sentence is about these courageous victims, recognizing the depth of harm they endured and affirming that they matter and their lives are not disposable. My office will continue to stand with victims and use every federal tool available to hold human traffickers accountable.”
Future Consequences
Following his prison sentence, Chambers will be subject to 10 years of supervised release. This period will include restrictions on his access to children and the internet. Additionally, he will be required to register as a sex offender, as mandated by the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
