A married couple is currently recovering following an incident in which they shot each other during a domestic dispute in southwest Houston late Saturday night.
Authorities responded to a call at a residence on Danfield Drive, located near Beltway 8 and South Post Oak Road, around 11:30 p.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered both individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to police, witnesses at the scene confirmed that the man and woman are married. It is reported that during an altercation inside their home, the couple ended up firing the same weapon at one another.
Both individuals were transported to a local hospital, where they are expected to make a full recovery.
