One individual lost their life and another sustained injuries in a house fire that occurred in Watauga on Friday night.
Firefighters arrived at the scene located at 6109 Mackneal Trail shortly after 11 p.m. to find the residence engulfed in flames.
Upon entering the home, crews discovered one victim deceased in a bedroom, while a second individual was rescued and transported to a nearby hospital. The condition of the hospitalized victim remains unclear.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been disclosed. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Tarrant County Fire Marshal’s Office.
