Travis County Triple Homicide: Suspect Charged with Murdering Parents and Brother

Authorities have apprehended a man in connection with a tragic triple homicide in Travis County, Texas. The suspect is accused of murdering his parents and older brother.

Joshua Dahan, a 27-year-old resident of Pflugerville, has been charged with capital murder and was taken into custody at the Travis County Jail on Thursday evening. He remains in jail as of Friday evening.

The victims include Dahan’s parents, 62-year-old Armand Dahan and 63-year-old Jami Dahan, along with his 31-year-old brother, Noah Dahan, all of whom were also from Pflugerville.

In a previous encounter with law enforcement, Dahan had a criminal record in Travis County that included a state-jail felony possession charge in 2024, which the District Attorney’s office chose not to pursue, as well as a misdemeanor charge for unlawful possession of a weapon that was dismissed last year.

The incident unfolded after the Travis County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call around 8:30 a.m. on May 7, from a family member requesting a welfare check due to one of the victims failing to arrive at work. Upon arrival at the residence on Civorno Drive, deputies discovered three individuals deceased inside from gunshot wounds.

Following the initial investigation, a person of interest was identified, and their vehicle was located abandoned near Norwood Park Boulevard in North Austin, nearly 17 miles from the crime scene. This individual was subsequently detained without incident at 11:45 a.m., with assistance from U.S. Marshals and the Austin Police SWAT team.
