For the fourth consecutive year, Chosen One Tattoo Studio, located at 519 E Abram St in Arlington, is transforming into a haunted house, adding a thrilling twist to the Halloween festivities. Open since the beginning of October, this spine-chilling attraction invites guests to face their fears while contributing to a charitable cause.
Admission to the haunted house is simple: bring a canned good or another nonperishable item. In addition to food, the studio is also collecting toiletries, diapers, baby wipes, cleaning supplies, and pet food. All donations will benefit Mission Arlington, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting local families in need.
Families are encouraged to bring their children; however, due to the nature of the venue being a working tattoo studio, visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
For those interested in getting some ink while enjoying the Halloween spirit, Chosen One offers tattoo and piercing services. Walk-in appointments are available with talented artists including Jamie, Roger, and Lady Karina, who recently shared the title of Readers’ Choice for Best Tattoo Artist in the Best Of 2026. Additionally, master piercer Phat Matt is on hand for those seeking body piercings.
The haunted house will be open for two more weekends: October 23-24 and October 30-31, from 8 PM to midnight. On Halloween night, the excitement continues with a special event hosted by nearby businesses.
At 7 PM on Halloween, Division Brewing and GROWL will present “Haunted Prom: Night of the Living Dead.” This event features a costume contest with a $100 prize, the crowning of a prom queen and king, and live performances by Channel Planet, Ambersick, Sonic Volt, and Tar & Feather. Admission to the prom is $15, and attendees can enter at GROWL, located at 509 E Abram St.
