Authorities have identified the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday morning on Crest Hill Road in Dallas. The incident left one man dead and another injured.
At approximately 2:26 a.m., Dallas Police received reports of gunfire in the 4000 block of Crest Hill Road, situated east of Fair Park. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency personnel from Dallas Fire-Rescue pronounced 35-year-old Everardo Suarez deceased at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently in stable condition.
Investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting and have yet to identify any suspects. The case remains active as police continue their inquiries.
