HOUSTON – Authorities were summoned to the Acres Homes neighborhood of Houston following a tragic shooting incident on Friday that resulted in one fatality.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on Dalview Street, close to the intersections with TC Jester Boulevard and Garapan Street. Responding officers from the Houston Police Department discovered a Black male in his early 30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are currently conducting a thorough search of the area to gather information from potential witnesses and to locate any available surveillance footage.
As of now, law enforcement officials have not disclosed any details regarding the motive behind the shooting. Additionally, there is no information available about possible suspects or vehicles connected to the incident.
The identity of the victim has not yet been released, as authorities are waiting to notify the next of kin.
