A pedestrian tragically lost his life after being struck by a truck on Friday night in Plano, Texas. The incident involved a 69-year-old man who was crossing the street at the time of the accident.
The collision occurred around 8:50 p.m. in the 6700 block of Alma Drive, as reported by the Plano Police Department on Saturday. Preliminary investigations revealed that a gray Toyota Tundra was traveling northbound on Alma Drive when it hit Al-Nasir Jinnah, the pedestrian from Plano.
Emergency responders arrived promptly to provide medical assistance, but unfortunately, Jinnah was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities indicated that there are no indications of speed or intoxication being contributing factors in the crash, and no other individuals were harmed.
