A man has been apprehended following an incident in which he allegedly stole a private ambulance while a medic was still inside. This event unfolded on Monday afternoon in northwest Harris County.
According to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, the theft took place around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Bold River Road and Doves Landing Avenue. The medic present in the ambulance was unharmed during the incident.
Upon arrival, deputies reported that the suspect attempted to flee the scene. However, law enforcement quickly pursued and captured him shortly after the theft, ensuring the situation was resolved within minutes.
Constable Mark Herman praised the swift actions of the deputies, emphasizing that the outcome could have been much worse. The efficiency of the response played a crucial role in preventing any injuries.
Efforts to obtain comments from Concord EMS regarding the incident have not yet yielded a response.
