Four minors sustained injuries following the collapse of a band tower at Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas. The incident occurred on Thursday while students were reportedly climbing the structure, which stands approximately 30 feet tall.
According to a statement from the Frisco Police Department, the tower fell while three students were on it, and another minor was also reported injured. Emergency services arrived at the scene around 6:45 p.m. Three of the injured students were transported to nearby hospitals for evaluation and treatment, while the fourth individual was injured but did not require hospitalization. Fortunately, none of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
In response to the incident, maintenance teams from Frisco Independent School District have cordoned off the area and are preparing to dismantle the fallen tower.
