Houston Man Sentenced to 10 Years for Coercing and Enticing Minor

A 25-year-old man from Houston has received a 10-year federal prison sentence for the coercion and enticement of a minor, as announced by U.S. Attorney Nicholas J. Ganjei.

Brice Andrew Flickinger pleaded guilty to the charges on March 20, 2025. Following a recent court hearing, U.S. District Judge Keith P. Ellison imposed a sentence of 120 months in federal prison.

The court highlighted that Flickinger had engaged in a sexual relationship with a “very young minor.” During the hearing, the judge considered a letter from the victim that detailed how she had been exploited at a young age and how the trauma affected her life for several years.

Background of the Case

Records indicate that the victim’s mother reported her daughter missing on July 9, 2021. Shortly after, law enforcement executed a traffic stop on a vehicle with two men, including Flickinger, who had just dropped the minor off near her home.

A search of Flickinger’s mobile phone uncovered at least nine videos containing child sexual abuse material, showing him and the minor engaged in explicit conduct. Further investigation at his residence yielded several items, including a pair of purple handcuffs found near his bed.

Flickinger initially connected with the minor through social media, and they met in person roughly 15 times, often after midnight when he would drive her to his home.

Consequences and Future Restrictions

Upon completion of his prison sentence, Flickinger will face a lifetime of supervised release and will be required to register as a sex offender. The court has implemented various restrictions aimed at limiting his access to children and the internet.

Additionally, Flickinger has been ordered to pay $5,000 under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015 and will forfeit his phone. Restitution details will be determined at a later date. He will remain in custody until he is transferred to a Federal Bureau of Prisons facility.
