Houston Weather Update: Enjoy Cooler Temperatures Following Saturday's Cold Front

HOUSTON – The weekend is set to close on a different note than it began, with temperatures dipping significantly following a cold front that moved through the area on Saturday evening.

Expect the mercury to drop into the 40s for Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings, aligning more closely with the typical temperatures for Southeast Texas during February. This shift brings a brief return to chilly mornings before a warming trend is anticipated later in the week.

The arrival of cooler, drier air promises three brisk mornings ahead, followed by milder afternoons with temperatures starting in the mid-60s and reaching around 70 degrees by Tuesday.

As for outdoor activities, this weekend marks the start of the Trail Rides, and the weather is expected to be favorable. Riders can look forward to cool mornings and comfortable afternoons, making it an ideal time to enjoy the trails.

However, this chilly spell won’t linger for long, as temperatures are projected to rebound to around 80 degrees by Wednesday and Thursday. Rainfall is not expected to be a concern throughout the week.
