A serious accident involving a heavy truck has resulted in the closure of multiple lanes on I-45 North near Highway 242, close to The Woodlands. The incident occurred on Monday morning when a Coca-Cola 18-wheeler lost its side wall, causing its cargo to spill across the roadway. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been disclosed by authorities.

Houston Transtar has reported the details of the accident, which took place on the northbound side of I-45 in Montgomery County. The Woodlands Fire Department indicated that the 18-wheeler collided with another vehicle, leading to the truck overturning.

Emergency responders evaluated two individuals from the second vehicle at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was transported to a local hospital for further treatment, as confirmed by officials.

SkyFOX, a news helicopter, captured aerial footage of the scene, revealing that the overturned 18-wheeler was indeed a Coca-Cola truck, which was carrying a variety of beverages that were scattered across the highway.
