Residents of Fort Worth are invited to participate in the 2026 Neighborhood Litter Stomp on Saturday, October 17, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. This initiative, organized by Keep Fort Worth Beautiful, encourages community members to step outside and clean up litter in their local areas.
Participants can choose locations that hold personal significance, such as their own neighborhoods, nearby parks, or favorite walking trails. Volunteers may join individually or form teams with family and friends for a collective cleanup effort. Free litter cleanup supplies and event T-shirts will be provided while supplies last. For those unsure about where to volunteer, Keep Fort Worth Beautiful will serve as a central hub at Trinity Park, ideal for first-time volunteers and those seeking an easy way to get involved. The event promises a fun and accessible opportunity to contribute to the beautification of Fort Worth.

Litter Cleanup Supplies
Keep Fort Worth Beautiful will supply all registered volunteers with the necessary cleanup materials. Supplies can be picked up at the Business Assistance Center, located at 1150 South Freeway, Fort Worth, with hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, October 14-15, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, October 16. Additional equipment will be available upon request for volunteers who are elderly or have mobility challenges.
Scrap Tire Collection
On the same day as the Neighborhood Litter Stomp, the City of Fort Worth will also facilitate a complimentary scrap tire collection event at the Hazel Harvey Peace Center for Neighborhoods, located at 818 Missouri Avenue. This initiative allows residents to responsibly dispose of unwanted tires, helping to divert waste and combat illegal dumping. Community members can bring tires from their homes or collect them from littered areas. Participation in the cleanup is not a prerequisite for tire disposal.
