CYPRESS, Texas – A teenager has been critically injured following a shooting incident in the Cypress area, as confirmed by law enforcement officials.

The shooting took place on Westgate Park Drive, in proximity to Barker Cypress Road and FM-529. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, the victim was shot and subsequently transported to an emergency room, before being airlifted to a hospital via LifeFlight.
