The Texas Department of Public Safety has officially placed 39-year-old Christopher Domingo Carrillo from Amarillo on its list of 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders, along with a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to his capture.
Carrillo is sought after for multiple charges, including sexual assault and indecency with a child, as well as for failing to meet sex offender registration requirements. He stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds, with known connections to both Amarillo and Hereford.
Authorities have been searching for Carrillo since November 2025, when a warrant was issued in Potter County for his noncompliance with sex offender registration. Subsequently, on December 1, additional warrants were granted in Deaf Smith County, where he faces two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact and five counts of sexual assault of a child.
Previously, Carrillo was convicted in July 2018 for an incident involving a 13-year-old in Deaf Smith County. He was found guilty of indecency with a child by sexual contact and indecency with a child by exposure, resulting in a five-year probation sentence.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Carrillo’s whereabouts to reach out to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477). The reward program, which is sponsored by the governor’s Public Safety Office, provides financial incentives for tips leading to the arrests of individuals listed on the state’s 10 Most Wanted roster.
