A late-night shooting at an apartment complex on San Antonio’s Eastside resulted in one fatality and five injuries, including two children under the age of 12. The incident occurred on Saturday evening, prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., officers arrived at the intersection of Lamar Street and North Mittman Street following reports of gunfire. Preliminary investigations by the San Antonio Police Department indicate that three suspects fired shots towards the apartment complex, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
Six individuals were shot during the incident, which also involved one of the suspects. Authorities confirmed that one person died at the scene, though the identity of the deceased has not yet been released. The injured, including the two young children and the suspect, were promptly transported to a local hospital, where their conditions remain undisclosed.
