A man is in critical condition following a shooting that occurred under the I-35W overpass in Fort Worth. The incident took place late at night, prompting a swift response from local authorities.
At approximately 11:21 p.m., Fort Worth Police were dispatched to Lancaster Avenue, where they discovered the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel promptly transported him to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
As the investigation unfolds, law enforcement officials have not yet determined the motive behind the shooting. Officers have detained several individuals who may have relevant information about the incident, and a Gun Violence detective is currently conducting interviews with these witnesses.
