Authorities in Harris County are currently investigating the shooting death of an elderly man found outside a residence in a Spring neighborhood. The incident occurred on Friday, prompting a response from deputies of Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.
Upon arrival at Pecan Brook Court in the Pinelakes Promenade subdivision, deputies discovered the man suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Klein Fire Department pronounced him dead at the scene.
Constable Herman stated that the shooting appears to be an isolated event, and there is no ongoing threat to the community. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
