A Jersey Village man has reported that two semi-trucks he invested a significant amount of money in were stolen shortly after Christmas. The incident occurred near the intersection of Sam Houston Tollway, where the individual, Alex Garfias, claims to have poured between $30,000 and $35,000 into the vehicles.
On December 27, around 9 a.m., surveillance footage captured two suspects arriving in a Dodge Charger. Shortly thereafter, the Charger was seen leaving the area, with one of the stolen semi-trucks in tow.
“I know, it’s hard to get them, but I don’t even know how they did it,” Garfias expressed. “I mean, I have the keys of the trucks just in my pocket. I don’t know how they did it.”
As of now, no suspects have been identified, and a police report has been filed with the Houston Police Department regarding this theft.
