Man Shot in Chest in Gulf Freeway Parking Lot: Details and Investigation

Houston police are currently investigating an incident involving a man who was found with a gunshot wound to the chest in a parking lot along the Gulf Freeway early on Saturday morning.

Officers responded to a report of the shooting in the 11400 block of Gulf Freeway around 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Police Lieutenant Ali reported that officers quickly applied chest seals to the victim before he was transported to a local hospital. At this time, the man’s condition remains unknown.

Investigators suspect that the shooting occurred at a different location from where the man was found. The case is currently being handled by the major assaults division of the Houston police.
