A sergeant from the Harris County Precinct 7 Constable’s Office has been cleared of charges related to child injury after being “no billed” by a grand jury. Sergeant Jocelyn Ballard faced two felony counts earlier this year.
Court documents reveal that the grand jury did not find sufficient evidence to indict Ballard in connection with the allegations. With over 18 years of experience in law enforcement, including a decade in Harris County, Ballard was serving in the Training Division at the time of her arrest.
