Two individuals have been charged following a pedestrian collision in Dallas that resulted in injuries to four people. The incident took place in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The accident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. on West Davis Street, near North Barnett Avenue in the West Oak Cliff area. According to local law enforcement, a pickup truck struck four pedestrians who were attempting to cross the street.
Three of the injured pedestrians were transported to the hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries. The fourth individual received treatment at the scene and did not require hospitalization.
The driver of the pickup truck, identified as 32-year-old Carlos Elizondo, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI). Additionally, a passenger in the vehicle was arrested on unrelated charges, although authorities have yet to disclose their identity.
Details surrounding the second suspect remain unclear, as police have not released their name. Furthermore, information regarding the victims and their current conditions has not been made public.
