A tragic incident unfolded in New Caney late Saturday night when a homeowner discovered a 15-year-old boy fatally shot outside their residence. Montgomery County authorities are actively seeking public assistance in gathering any relevant information regarding this case.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received an emergency call from a homeowner on Stevens Road, located near Highway 59 and McCleskey Road. Upon returning home, the homeowner found an individual deceased in front of the property.
Deputies arrived at the scene and confirmed that the victim was a 15-year-old boy who had sustained gunshot wounds. Despite efforts to perform life-saving measures, the teenager was pronounced dead at the location.
As of now, the victim has not been publicly identified, with authorities describing him only as a Black male aged 15. There is currently no information regarding potential suspects or the motive behind this tragic event.
