The identities of four individuals discovered deceased in a Terrell residence on Christmas Eve have been confirmed, with authorities suggesting the tragic incident may be a murder-suicide.
The victims include Philip Dale Humphrey, 66, from Kaufman; Sherry Lynn Bostick, 62, from Terrell; and a 12-year-old boy from Wills Point, whose name has not been released at the request of his family. The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Casey Dale Humphrey of Forney, reportedly succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
On Christmas Eve, police were dispatched to a home on Rash Lane in Terrell, approximately 30 miles east of Dallas, to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of the four individuals, all of whom had sustained gunshot wounds.
