Authorities are investigating a crash involving an EMS ambulance in Harris County, Texas, that resulted in three individuals being injured. The incident occurred at the intersection of TC Jester and Highway 249, close to the Mt Royal Village subdivision.
According to Harris County Constable Precinct 1, Alan Rosen, initial findings suggest that an SUV ran a red light, colliding with the ambulance, which was not transporting any patients at the time. Fortunately, the injuries sustained by those involved are reported to be non-life-threatening, and all three individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is ongoing. Authorities are currently on the scene, and it is unclear how long the area will remain cordoned off for the investigation.
Drivers are advised to avoid the vicinity while officials conduct their inquiries.
