Authorities received a report of a shooting at a Dallas Fire-Rescue station, where firefighters informed police that a man with a gunshot wound had been brought in for assistance. Paramedics quickly transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
Investigators have established that the shooting took place in the parking lot of a convenience store located in the 2100 block of East Ledbetter Drive, which is situated less than a quarter-mile from the fire station. It appears that a dispute between the victim and another individual escalated into gunfire, after which the suspect fled the scene and remains at large.
