Lewisville police are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred outside an apartment on Friday night, resulting in the death of a man who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Authorities responded to the scene located in the 200 block of East Corporate Drive at approximately 10:40 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been disclosed.
While the motivation behind the shooting remains unclear, investigators do not believe it was a random act of violence. Efforts are ongoing to piece together the circumstances surrounding the incident.
