Among the participating organizations, Take Me Home Pet Rescue is making a notable impact on the community, emphasizing the significance of this day in raising awareness and funds for local causes. Since its inception, North Texas Giving Day has amassed over $712 million in donations.
In an inspiring moment, Make-A-Wish North Texas CEO Kim Elenez appeared on Good Day to discuss how contributions from North Texas Giving Day help fulfill life-changing wishes for local children facing critical illnesses, including a recent surprise trip to Hawaii for a Wish Kid named Skyler.
Additionally, the Dallas Winds, represented by Executive Director Michelle Hall and Education Director Jeremy Kondrat, showcased their music education programs, underscoring the importance of arts in the community during this annual event.
Ruthie’s Fueled by Good, led by founder Ashlee Kleinert, also highlighted its mission of providing second-chance employment opportunities and supporting local community initiatives, including St. Philip’s School and Community Center.
