Two men were shot while enjoying ice cream in northwest Houston on Friday night, according to local police reports. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. in the 6100 block of West Tidwell Road, where the victims were walking when a vehicle containing four suspects approached and opened fire.
One of the men sustained a gunshot wound to the stomach, while the other was hit in the arm. Both individuals were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Authorities have managed to identify one suspect believed to be involved in the shooting, who provided crucial information regarding the vehicle and the other occupants. Investigators currently deem the shooting an isolated incident, suggesting it may have been a random attack, as there is no indication that the victims were acquainted with the assailants.
