Texas law enforcement has activated a statewide AMBER Alert for two sisters from San Antonio who are currently missing and believed to be in significant danger. The alert was issued early Saturday morning following their disappearance.
The sisters, 10-year-old Fidely Alvarez-Mauricio and 13-year-old Neidy Alvarez-Mauricio, were last seen at approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday in the 1200 block of Logwood Avenue.
Fidely is described as a Black female, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 115 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black-and-white striped gown and sandals.
Neidy is also a Black female, approximately 5 feet tall and weighing about 100 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes and was last seen in a black shower cap, a black shirt, pink pajama pants, and sandals.
Authorities are actively seeking 48-year-old Pedro Alvarez-Castillo, who is believed to be connected to the abduction. He is described as a Black male, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing around 190 pounds, with brown eyes and a bald head. He was last seen in San Antonio.
